PRE TREATMENT info

PREGNANCY

1. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, please note that there are a limit of treatments you can have.
2. It is ok to have waxing treatments, pregnancy facial and  pregnancy massage. 
3. You can not receive brow lamination, lash tint, brow tint, semi permanent makeup, henna or lash lift due to the use of pigments which are not advisable to use during pregnancy as this can result in severe reaction.
4. You can not have a chemical peel treatment at all as this can disrupt hormonal balance.
5. You can not have micro-needling and microdermabrasion during pregnancy.

WAXING AND SKINCARE

1. Prior to waxing, please avoid taking blood thinning substances such as st johns wort, aspirin, Vitamin E or fish oils as these can increase bruising and bleeding.
2. Please avoid alcohol consumption before attending your treatment.
3. If you have had aesthetic treatments such as Botox, dermal filler, microneedling etc around the area you are to be treated, please leave at least 1 week between your treatments.
4. Please schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks prior to any big events to allow your skin to correctly heal.
5. If you usually react i.e. have redness, rashes or urticaria, you can take an antihistamine prior to your treatments to reduce any reactions you may experience post receiving treatments. 
6. If you have a low pain tolerant, you can use mild anaesthetic cream such as LMX4 or EMLA which you can purchase over  the counter from pharmacies.
7. Please wait at least 4 weeks after receiving your covid 19 vaccination.
8. The skin is more sensitive during the menstrual cycle. It is best to leave a few days prior to your period and a couple of days after before receiving waxing.
