HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR TREATMENT - AFTERCARE

POST WAXING CARE

  1. Avoid swimming for up to 24 hours after waxing.
  2. Avoid the sauna and hot yoga. 
  3. Avoid getting a spray tan. 
  4. Avoid exposure to sun and UV tanning booths up to 48 hour after waxing.
  5. Do not start exfoliation until 48 hours post waxing. 
  6. Moisturise daily to help keep skin soft and smooth.
  7. Avoid using AHA's on waxed areas.
  8. Avoid taking  a bath on day of waxing, shower instead.
  9. Avoid any activities on day of waxing that would introduce saliva to waxed areas.
  10. Avoid friction or chaffing from tight cloths. 
  11. Lace underwear causes pulling and encourages ingrown hairs, start wearing cotton underwear from day 5 post waxing. Cotton does not pull hairs.
  12. You can use ice to help swellings and bruising.
  13. Avoid touching the treated area as your pores remain open for up to 6 hours. Touching will introduce any dirt, sweat and bacteria on your hands.
  14. Avoid any activities that will lead to profuse sweating as this will irritate freshly waxed skin  for up to 24 hours.
